In our current exhibition of Bettina Krieg’s work, we are showing a group of new mostly large-scale drawings created over the past two years. Bettina’s line drawings evoke many associations. One can think of extremely enlarged hair bundles or waves. In any case, they are about movement and rhythm.

Mirrors of Light presents the room-scale installation with the same title, a work from 1973/74 that is crucial to understanding Holt’s notion of perceptual experience. Holt’s practice navigates the complexities of light as artistic medium, physical reality, and aesthetic concept.

This autumn’s exhibition divides the space into two spheres: on the ground of the Corner Space, the artist has erected one of her spatial sculptures made of rusty-red lattice walls that partition the space. Her work, "Transponder 1121", hovers above the sculpture, suspended from the gallery’s nine-meter-high ceiling.

"KioskShop berlin (KSb)" by H. N. Semjon has shaped the face of central Berlin for 11 years from 2000 to 2011. The white shop as a minimalist work of art that connects the art and retail world. The strangely remote "Product Sculptures" from everyday goods, with a painterly structured white beeswax coat, seem to have stopped time. Nicolas Berggruen's Holding kills him. The great collector pretends to be ignorant, or is it.

until 13.03. Zerheilt. Ein fotografischer Essay von Frédéric Brenner. Frédéric Brenner.  photography  Repro Zerheilt, Frédéric Brenner

Following more than forty years of photographic storytelling of Jewish life around the world, Frédéric Brenner's new photographic essay, Zerheilt: Haeled to Pieces, portrays individuals – newcomers, old timers, converts, immigrants and others – who have made Berlin their home or are just passing through. Via a series of fragmentary insights into this incubator of paradoxes and dissonances, he reflects on conflicting narratives of redemption.

Former Berliners who had to leave the city due to persecution under fascism were invited to see their old home again. Over 35,000 people, the majority of them of Jewish origin, accepted the offer.
