Hubertus Reichert is picking up the trail he started in 2021 with his series on Dante Alighieri's Commedia. In his new works he wanders through the three realms that Dante traveled through on his journey. In his large paintings he focuses on nature, Dante’s landscapes, colors and materials that keep appearing. One does not face Reichert's new works as a viewer. He makes us feel like stepping into carpets, passing the landscape and being inside.
Film premiere: Peter Liermann, Frankfurt, follows the powerful spectacle of the clouds with his camera, their diverse appearances and movements, the constant changes and their gentle, barely noticeable coloraturas. Short japanese poems form the echo chamber of the poetic film, which often resembles abstract paintings. Limited number of places. Admission €5.
