Painting, Print, Sculpture, Media Art. Repro Question #2: When Are We Wrong? // Question #2: When Are We Right?, Isaac Chong Wai, 2021, Acryl auf Leinwand, je 160 x 120 cm, Photo: Chroma

05.12.2020 – 17.04.2021 Level 3. Manaf Halbouni. Sculpture, Fotografie, Textile art, Media Art

11.09.2020 – 14.11.2020 Both Eyes in My Two Hands. Sandra del Pilar. Painting. Repro Who am I and how much?, Sandra del Pilar, 2019, Acrylic and oil on canvas and transparent synthetic fibers, 195 x 305 cm, Photo: Carlo Sintermann

26.06.2020 – 29.08.2020 Recurrence. Kuratiert von Lotte Laub. Isaac Chong Wai, Elmas Deniz, Simon Wachsmuth. Painting, Sculpture, Media Art. Repro Exhibition view: Recurrence, Zilberman | Berlin, front: Simon Wachsmuth, 0,7 (2004); back: Isaac Chong Wai, Line series (2019–2020), Photo: Chroma

The exhibited works strike a balance between historical research and the attempt to discover a narrative style between narration and abstraction. Recurrence of the same with minor variations and pattern-like systems of elements are characteristics not only of the paintings and objects but also of the videos. In troubled times, concentrating on what is constant and recurrent can provide an unexpected point of reference and thereby contribute to our understanding of future paradigms.
